Spring 2020

Feb    Las Vegas

We're about to start another RV adventure. We bought one way tickets from Honolulu-Las Vegas. We have a lot of things coming up in the next few months but not sure of the time line with everything.

We'll go back to Caliente Springs RV Resort in Desert Hot Springs, California for a week or so. We love it there. They have wonderful pools and we play pickleball everyday.

On March 18, the kids will fly to Las Vegas and we'll drive to Brian Head Ski Resort in Utah and spend a few days on the slopes. This is the first time in snow for JJ and Jade, very excited to have them with us.

Beginning of May, I have my 40th class reunion get together in Las Vegas.

Then the most exciting part of our trip.....we ordered a new Tiffin Allegro Red from Sherman RV in Mississippi. Our order went in at the end of February but we don't have a date to pick up yet. Should be completed by the middle of May. Once we hear from Sherman RV we'll drive our Kia to Mississippi and pick up our new rig. So exciting!!!! My sister Dana will be purchasing our old RV. Her boyfriend Michael will be retiring in April so we might have a partner for our RV adventures.

March    Difficult Decision to Cancel Everything

We had a very nice time at Caliente Springs and have been keeping up with the news on the Covid-19 pandemic. It seems to be getting worse and nobody knows what the future holds. We haven't heard from Sherman RV yet on the completion date for our new rig and finally had to make the difficult decision to cancel the rest of our trip.

When we told Josh and Miki of our plans, they were kind of upset but it's too risky for our kids to come and meet us for skiing. We'll try to plan for next year.

Noah and Manu is here in Vegas so we have been spending some time with them. We always have a good time in Vegas with them. Our flight home is scheduled for March 18. Good timing because while we were having dinner at Orleans on March 17th, the governor came on with orders for all casinos to shut down that night. Talk about good timing.....
Always a good time with these two!

We got up early on March 18th to catch our flight home.

Walking through the casino was very weird, we've never seen any casino empty like that.

Hopefully, everything with Covid-19 blows over and things can get back to normal.
